About Sirius
Each tiny house is named after a star, which becomes a source of inspiration. Sirius is the brightest star in the sky, belonging to the constellation of the Great Dog (Canis Major). It is a white star whose energy comes from the fusion of hydrogen into helium.
The word «Sirius» comes from the ancient Greek Σείριος, Seirios which means «burning»! It was also the name of the dog of Orion, giant hunter of the Greek mythology which according to legend was transformed into a star cluster by Zeus, giving birth to the famous constellation of Orion.
