The author
Aurélie Jeannin – Writer
Aurélie Jeannin lives in the forest near here, in a wooden house built by her husband’s hands. She defines herself as a «slasher»: writing leads her to express herself as well in fiction as in editorial conception or communication.
The quest for identity is the focal point of all her projects: how to live our own singularity and deal with others? Her novel Préférer l’hiver will take you into a family behind closed doors in the woods, an ideal reading when you are here !
For her tiny house, Aurélie Jeannin wanted to create a warm atmosphere, which invites reading, resting, contemplation.

About Bételgeuse
Each tiny house is named after a star, which becomes a source of inspiration. Betelgeuse is a orange-red supergiant star in the constellation of Orion.
It is one of the most easily identifiable stars in the night sky because of its high luminosity… at least that was the case until 2019. It went dark abruptly, which triggered a lot of research. Scientists are trying to understand the reasons for these changes. A theory suggest that the star would actually be younger than we thought and… way closer to our planet ! The mystery of Betelgeuse remains intact, and continues to captivate the scientific community.
