Ever since, she has published numerous books, which all explore our most intimate emotions in a lively and luminous way.
Mathou is a graphic designer, illustrator and author. She creates on multiple media. She is constantly renewing herself. She took over the Chalet and made it her playground !

Welcome to the Chalet des Racines (“the Roots Chalet”) ! Recharge your batteries just a stone’s throw from the vegetable garden.
We are used to seeing only one part of a plant, yet it is an incredibly rich universe unfolding beneath our feet. The root is the subterranean organ of a plant, which has multiple vital functions. The root helps to anchor the plant to the ground, to draw nutrients, to accumulate reserves, to communicate between species and to create a symbiosis with fungi and bacteria. Each root system is unique, witness to the singular development of a plant, its history.
